So by now I am sure most of you are anxiously awaiting our Summer look book that we shot in Grand Isle a couple of weeks ago! Just a little bit longer guys, and I promise it will be worth the wait! We are so excited to share with you a photo shoot that we are really proud of and that we think you all will really love too!
Today we wanted to give you a little sneak peek before we release the final product. You'll get an insider's look at what went on behind the scenes of this photo shoot and our trip to Grand Isle!
It was such a blast and we created some beautiful imagery that we are literally bursting with excitement to share with you! We shot some gorgeous photos, had a delicious meal together (cooked for us by one of Shanna's neighbors), and woke up at 5 AM the following morning to shoot the second half of our look book!
As I am sure you can imagine, there was plenty of hairspray in the air...
And Shanna looking glamorous as always!
We worked up quite an appetite and were so thankful that Mr. Troy was kind enough to cook for us! He is a Baton Rouge native but vacations often in Grand Isle, and one of his favorite things to do is cook for others. Trust us, this food was just as good as it looks. We'll be bringing you the recipe and a little more about Troy on the blog soon!
We had to catch the perfect sunrise on the beach so we were up at 5 AM...and Carol and I built a tent on the beach.
Yep, you read that right...a tent, on the beach. We were glamping after all!
The wind was trying to tear it down the whole time, but we managed to make it stay and our photographers were able to capture some amazing shots!
And then we might have gotten on a shrimp boat....
Both days were so much fun and we cannot thank Julep Studio enough for coming along with us to photograph the whole shoot! And a big thanks to all of our beautiful models! Y'all couldn't have looked more fabulous!
After seeing these behind the scene images, we hope that you are just as excited to see the look book as we are to show them to you!
And don't worry you won't have to wait too much longer! The look book will be revealed very soon!
Who would have thought a shrimp boat and some gorgeous models would go so well together...we are in love!
